Creative Expressions – Butterfly Heart
Butterfly Heart….a gorgeous stamp ideal for any papercraft but gorgeous too on this wooden heart!
I applied gesso onto the heart first and then stamped the heart and heat embossed. The heat embossing gives a slightly raised effect which makes it easier to colour.
I used the Intense Pigment Stain and Shimmer Shakers to colour the whole image.
I then drilled holes around the top half of the heart and threaded wire through to give a bit of texture.
Finished off with the hanger, and sprayed with a sealant.
