Creative Expressions – Halloween – Boo Jar

Everyone needs a Boo jar for Halloween!

This jar was once a jar of coffee! It has screw top and is one of those larger sizes which begs to be reused.

I covered the jar and lid with kitchen paper scrunched up and covered with pva glue.

Leave to dry and then cover completely with black gesso and leave to dry again. I then added some of the Crackle Paste in places and leave to dry. The cracks are amazing and really add to the project.

I then used the green and purple Texture paste randomly, and they ae so bright. perfect!

I added some corrugated card to the front and then painted with the black gesso.

‘Boo’ was die-cut three times with black card and glued onto the corrugated card. I then coloured using Gilded Touch, which gives it s lovely wax shine when gently buffed.
