Creative Expressions – Halloween – Freaky Fright Boo! Coasters

I love creating with a wooden base and thought this stencil was perfect for some Halloween coasters.
I painted the wooden base with the Pigment Stain. Such a little goes a very long way. I used embossing ink through the stencil and then white heat embossed. Then did it a second time with black to give the faces some dimension.
Added black embossing around the edges of the coasters and then sprayed with lacquer to give the coaster more durability, before then backing with thin cork.
Coasters at the ready for Halloween!
