Andy Skinner – Skyline Coasters

I just love this skyline rubber stamp by Andy Skinner. It’s easy to carry it on too so you can make it as long as you want. Ideal for making a couple of coasters, which are similar but not the same!

I prepped a couple of wooden coasters with gesso, before adding a couple of layers of the Matt Chalk paint and let them dry.

I added some blue for the sky and for the water with Intense Pigment Stain and rubbed it in with a cloth to smooth it in.

The skyline stamp was heat embossed and then I added some rub-on transfers for added elements.

I then sprayed with a clear spray lacquer.

I added cork to the back and there you go – two coasters ready for use!
