Creative Expressions – Coasters – Sweet Sunflowers
Who doesn’t love sunflowers! These stamps are perfect for a coaster, just ready for that sunshine cup of tea!
I coloured a plain wooden coaster with Shimmer Shakers. They contain mica powder so give a lovely shimmer to a project. I stamped and heat embossed the sunflowers and coloured using a mix of Shimmer Shakers and Intense Pigment Stain.
I added some Pixie Powders for extra shimmer and then sealed with a clear lacquer. This is necessary as the inks and powders used may not be permanent, but the lacquer makes them so.
