By shopping at Caroline Webley Design you agree to the following:

General

We reserve the right to change these terms and conditions at any time. Any such changes will take effect when posted on the website and it is your responsibility to read the terms and conditions on each occasion you use this website and your continued use of the website shall signify your acceptance to be bound by the latest terms and conditions.

Making a Purchase

Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse the store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. The website is designed not to go to the cart after each selection, so you can stay shopping. 
The shopping pages have a single 'add to cart' button for your convenience.  Pressing this button adds one item to your cart. 
After you have finished shopping, click on 'Shopping Cart' and you will be taken to your cart where you can view and amend your order. 
Click 'Checkout' where you will be asked for a few details that are needed in order to be able to complete the order.


Payment for orders is made through Paypal.  You do not need an account with Paypal, you can pay using your normal card for the transaction without having to have a Paypal account.

An email confirmation of order is sent to you after purchase, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us.
We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you a dispatch notification.

Caroline Webley Design sells craft items and handmade items.  A full description is available for every item for sale.

Payment

Payment is accepted by Paypal.
Payment must be made for all orders at the time they are placed, We are unable to hold or reserve stock if payment has not been received.

Dispatch

We do not live close to a Post Office and therefore will only be posting three times a week, days of which will vary.  You will be informed by email when your order has been dispatched.
We use Royal Mail or Courier, at my discretion.
Please note that during Sale periods, orders may take longer to dispatch due to the high volume that we receive at these times.

Please note that we cannot accept instructions to leave parcels outside or elsewhere.
We will not add notes onto the address labels for the parcel to be left anywhere other than the address.  Should the parcel be left outside that is a matter for the delivery service which delivered the item, and you should seek compensation from them only. 
We request that all parcels are handed to the resident and we are therefore not liable for any theft or damage to items left outside or anywhere other than handing to the address resident.

We adhere to Royal Mail’s lost parcel guidelines.
Lost parcels will not be resent until 15 working days have lapsed since the parcel was sent.
It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that the correct address is provided in full.
We cannot accept claims for missing parcels where an incorrect or incomplete address has been provided.

Please note:  Stock discrepancies can occur and cannot always be accurate.

Returns and refunds

If you are not satisfied with your purchase, returns are accepted within 7 working days* **.
Goods must be returned in their original packaging in a resaleable condition.
P&P costs are non-refundable in this instance.
Please note that we will not accept liability for loss of goods being returned so we recommend that the necessary insurance (Certificate of Posting or Recorded Delivery) be taken by you.

A full refund/exchange will be given on faulty goods or where an incorrect item(s) has been sent to you.
Claims will only be settled after the faulty goods have been returned with the nature of the fault clearly stated.

Any goods returned incomplete i.e. packaging missing, accessories missing etc. will not be replaced or credited.
Similarly goods found to have been used will not be replaced or credited.

Any claims for non-delivery must be made within 7 days of purchase. Any claims for shortages must be made within 48 hours of delivery.  No claims will be considered after this time.


*All handmade goods are NON-RETURNABLE and NON-REFUNDABLE. 
Lots of images are provided for you to make a well informed decision.  
We cannot refund or exchange handmade goods simply because you have changed your mind. 
Please study the photos and descriptions carefully.  
Handmade products are always made with love and care,  and are truly unique.  
There will be quirks, this is the nature of the style in which they are made.  Caroline's style is messy, loose threads, bent edges, stains, etc.  These are all part of the design.
Please be sure of your purchase before you order.

**Digial Downloads are NON-RETURNABLE and NON-REFUNDABLE.

Security

The website is protected by SSL - Secure Socket Layer.
SSL are protocols for establishing authenticated and encrypted links between networks, and are indicative with the HTTPs in front of the URL.
SSL certificates are most commonly used when sensitive information is being exchanged such as credit card details, personal details or passwords.  You can be sure Caroline Webley Design has such a certificate in place and any data transferred is done so in a safe and secure manner.
