Coloured in using Distress Oxides.

I restamped the head of the flower to stick on with 3d pads to give dimension, then layered with pretty paper.

What a Wonderful World! For the Polkadoodles chal What a Wonderful World! For the Polkadoodles challenge – Spring Flowers – (Saturday 7 May) I used Flower Power 1 (PD7490) and Wonderful World (PD8219) stamps. Stamped and heat embossed and then coloured with Distress Inks before fussy cutting out. Added gems into the centre of the flowers and then layered onto paper from the Blushing Blooms 6×6 paper pad. Lifted the flowers using foam pads. Hearts can be used anytime for any occasion and these are lovely shabby chic type hearts, which I coloured and then fussy cut before applying to layers with 3d pads. I then used Sam’s 8×8 Paper Pad Shabby Blooms to create a handmade envelope to coordinate with the card. I used a plain white envelope as a template and then cut out with the patterned paper. Gorgeous rubber stamps and available from @oakwooddirect now! With this particular splatter stamp you can create a dark grunge effect with a splatter stamp or go bright – and I went bright! I used DIstress Oxides and then to add a little texture and glimmer I added silver gilding foil through a stencil, all available through oakwood.. The foil gives a fantastic extra effect on a project, and so simple to use. I combined the stamp with the Paper Boutique paper pad of the same name and because this was so colourful the stamps were great as a black and white accent.
